Audio_Clips_Effects1_295_MiniMix:
Continue working on your assignment from last week as detailed here in Lab 2.
1.) When your arrangement is finished, follow the File Management steps outlined below, then save your work as an .alp file and label it: Audio_Clips_Effects1_295_MiniMix_YOURNAME.alp Upload the file in your own Dropbox at the Classesv2 295b site. Be sure to put it in your Lab Exercises folder.
2.) File Management: since your MiniMix assignment includes external files you will need to take the following steps to be certain that they are included in you .alp file:
- Pull down the File Menu in Live/Suite 8 and select “Collect All And Save”
- Then, select “yes” for every item in the “Specify Media Files” menu box
- Next, pull down the File Menu in Live/Suite 8 and select “Manage Files”
- Then, go over to Help View and look at the “File Management” options
- Next, select “Manage Set” to verify that all your audio files are present
- Then, return to the “File Management” options
- Next, select “Manage Project”
- Then, select “Create Project Pack”
- Next, under “External Files” select “Collect Into Project” for both your library and external audio files (an extra precaution)
- Then, under “Packing” select “Create Live Pack”
- Now save your .alp file
